What it means to be Canadian, my Canadian Identity

What does it mean to be Canadian?

Being a Canadian is much more than living and being in Canada. The title itself holds significance. When people think of Canadians they associate it with five major things, which are:

1. Toronto Raptors is a Canadian founded basketball team that is part of the National Basketball Association, the team itself represents the integrity and grit Canadians possess. The actions in which the individual players show forth reflects who we are. Since the Toronto Raptors have gained many fans so have Canadians, we are now known for being athletic, versatile, full of character, and friendly. 
   
2. When the word Canadian comes up many people link the word with the season winter, to be Canadian you have to know how to deal with these harsh conditions .Television advertisements about jackets(Canadian Goose) and the showcases that Canada is known for its cold winters and good jackets.
   
3. To be Canadian it means to be nice and full of character. Canadians are great people with tender and loving hearts who genuinely like to help people.
   
4. To be Canadian it means being blessed with the opportunity of inexpensive  health care that way pay for through tax.
   
   
   
5. If you ask me what it means to be Canadian, Id say...to be Canadian means being blessed with the rights and necessities everyone deserves such as good food for a low price or free health care, to be Canadian to me mainly means being optimistic and open to new things because as you can see many there isn't really a set color for Canadians we are a multicultural country. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-radio-and-tv-18086952
